Most of the lighting retrofit work performed for Boundary Dam was inside the dam, but our crews also safely tackled the job of changing the lights on the spillway.

Power City has been an industry leader in conducting Arc Flash studies for commercial and industrial customers throughout Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Nevada, Montana and California. Our electricians have the best available PPE including ARC Flash PPE suits, insulated tools and the knowledge to do this hazardous work safely. We are equipped to work in hazardous environments up to NFPA Hazardous Risk Category 4 (40cal/cm2).

When we faced the challenge of working with the mechanical contractor to get a 20-ton HVAC rooftop HVAC unit replaced, Power City's experience with helicopter-assisted work came to the rescue. Through our careful planning, there were no accidents, property damage or HVAC downtime with this well orchestrated, Power City led job.

Power City Electric's strong safety culture and investment in the best tools to manage and control risk allow our crews to work safely in unique environments. Our crews are trained, and the rules are strictly enforced, for sloping and shoring on any trench work exceeding 48 inches, as well as subterrain fall protection and confined spaces for wells or mines.
